Scope and title mismatch

[edit]

There seems to be a bit of a mismatch between the scope/contents of the list – road routes in Tasmania – with the title List of highways in Tasmania. I would suggest splitting the current list contents off to a new article List of road routes in Tasmania (which would be consistent with List of road routes in the Australian Capital Territory, List of road routes in New South Wales, List of road routes in South Australia, List of road routes in Western Australia). The current article can then be re-purposed to list the roads that the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources considers to be highways, as shown by the maps in the reference – listed by hierarchy, then alphabetically. Using official classifications takes away the WP:OR issues with deciding whether to list a road as highway or not. - Evad37 [talk] 02:14, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
