Merge with List of designated heritage properties in Ottawa[edit]

These two lists should be merged into this one. List of designated heritage properties in Ottawa is incomplete. This list (List of historic places in Ottawa) is incomplete to the extent CRHP itself is incomplete. Together, we end up with a better list, and the merge process will likely dovetail with improving tbis list (adding wikilinks, etc.) --Skeezix1000 (talk) 19:41, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Don't merge: the combined page would be too long. Also, they have different criteria for listing, so can't easily be merged. Furthermore, there are about 20 such lists which could similarly be comibined as part of List of historic places in Ottawa: see Category:Lists of historic places in Ontario. Merge with List of designated heritage properties in Ottawa[edit]

I am initiating a new discussion, with the exact same merge proposal as above. Given the first response to the previous discussion was this week, and I responded yesterday, it blows my mind that @MartinZ02: closed the discussion - how inappropriate. If anything, this new discussion will at least allow @Klbrain: and me to sort out where we stand, because it's not entirely clear to me that we are on the same page as to what has been proposed and what Klbrain's concerns are. If after that there is no consensus, at least it will be after we've discussed it and made sure we've understood where we are each coming from. Skeezix1000 (talk) 12:40, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
