Notability[edit]

How notable does a team have to be in order to be included in this list? Tompw (talk) (review) 09:17, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To keep the list managable, I decided to limit the scope to any fully professional team, any Jr A or better team (listing Jr. B and C leagues), any senior team that won the Allan Cup, and any university/college team. What team were you looking to add? Resolute 15:41, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for that... could you add that into the article lead? I wasn't looking to add any team in particular, it's just that lists should state their inclusion criteria. (See WP:LIST). Clearly this list is selective rather than exhaustive, hence my question. Tompw (talk) (review) 16:43, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I already had a brief mention of the criteria ("does not include teams below the junior age group, or below the Senior AAA level") but I will clarify. Resolute 18:01, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Flin Flon Bombers[edit]

Do the Flin Flon Bombers technically belong on this page? I would think they should be on the Manitoba page as their arena is in Manitoba correct? It would be the same idea as the Lloydminster Border Kings of the AJHL, where technically they are in Saskatchewan. Shootmaster 44 03:53, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I included the Bombers, and the Lloydminster teams, in both articles, as the cities border both provinces. While Flin Flon's arena is on the Manitoba side, the city includes the Saskatchewan side. Given this article is meant to be a directory of towns with teams, I believe it fits. Resolute 14:54, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
