Information not related to Younis' five-wicket hauls[edit]

I removed the information not related to Younis' five-wicket hauls from the lead, but the edit was reverted by Sahara4 without an edit summary. This information has nothing to do with Younis' five-wicket hauls, but is rather cherrypicked information about Younis that reads like an advertisement for him rather than an encyclopedic entry about his five-wicket hauls. The following content should be removed from the lead: "A right-arm fast bowler who represented his country between 1989 to 2003, the BBC described Waqar as "one of the most feared fast bowlers in recent cricketing history", while former Pakistan captain Imran Khan said that Waqar was "a thinking cricketer and, at his peak, he was the most destructive bowler the game had seen". The cricket almanack Wisden noted his "pace and swing", and named him one of their Cricketers of the Year in 1992. Waqar was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame on 9 December 2013." Comment I'd like to invite The Rambling Man, Bencherlite, Giants2008, Vensatry, Harrias and Crisco 1492 to discuss this. I would be more than happy whatever they decide. Cheers, Zia Khan 15:39, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Comment – It's a generic pattern that we follow in most of these lists. Though this is not a parent article, an introduction about the cricketer definitely serves the purpose. Again, quotes are added to add some flavor to the lead. Vensatry (Ping me) 15:49, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Since this showed up on my notification list, I figured that I should come here. I agree with Vensatry that the information above should stay in the lead. A lead that only describes the five-wicket hauls would be a little boring to read, and the quotes are properly attributed as they should be. I have yet to look at what was removed from the blurb, and will do so tomorrow. Giants2008 (Talk) 03:31, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is simply trivial[edit]

I feel as though this is not for wikipedia,Who cares if X made X number of Five-Wicket hauls? -Russianarmy13 10:49,30 December 2013 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Russianarmy13 (talkcontribs)

Inn (= Innings) column in table[edit]

There's something wrong with this. What does it mean when the number in this column is '3' or '4'? 86.185.64.255 (talk) 01:28, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Four innings are played in a Test match. 3 or 4 refer to the innings in which he took a fifer. —Zia Khan 03:51, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
