Format the leading banks table

- What I think should be changed:
Change the list of banks under "Largest full-service investment banks" to a wikitable, optional source code below (data from reference 3[1] in article )
Bank | Revenue (in millions US dollars) |
---|---|
JPMorgan | 6,895.3 |
Goldman Sachs | 5,838.8 |
Morgan Stanley | 4,778.4 |
BofA Securities | 4,716.9 |
Citi | 3,881.1 |
Barclays | 3,249 |
Credit Suisse | 2,921.2 |
Deutsche Bank | 2,075.9 |
RBC Capital Markets | 1673.7 |
Wells Fargo Securities | 1658.9 |
- Why it should be changed:
The current format is messy, besides a wikitable is already used later on in the article in a similar way.

Please add Canaccord Genuity (TSX:CF) to the list of financial services firms. 206.25.70.254 (talk) 19:07, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
- Not done: Needs to be notable enough for an article ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 19:37, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
- @ScottishFinnishRadish:, it may be good to work on some kind of guiding notes for this article. I'd disagree that Cannacord lacks notability. The original author of this list initially established that any investment bank that is notable for an article, can be included. Mind you, that was in 2008 and a lot has changed since. This list article strikes me as quite arbitrary.pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 13:01, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
- Jake Brockman, generally most list articles require that entries have an article. Easiest inclusion criteria to assess. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 16:53, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
- @ScottishFinnishRadish:... which they do have Canaccord Genuity - though with a questionable editing history, to be fair. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 22:14, 13 August 2021 (UTC)

I’d like to add The Bank of New York Mellon Markets to the financial conglomerates list - it offers capital market solution. Ghibibb (talk) 15:32, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
