Readers beware of a contradiction. How can Charles O. Stockslager have been Chief Justice in 1906 and chief justice, above 1901-1902? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_McParland see also Frank Gooding bio. Indeed, why would a newly elected associate justice, 1901, be elected by his peers to be chief justice immediately, then demoted back to associate justice?
In addition, other sources show Stockslager as having been chief justice when he stepped down in early 1907, not 1906, albeit perhaps before any cases were heard in 1907.

I have no information on this one way or the other, but I can see how in certain systems a judge could be the chief justice of a court for an early, temporary period. bd2412 T 11:06, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Drafts have been initiated for the following missing Idaho Supreme Court Justices. Any help in completing these and moving them to mainspace would be appreciated! BD2412 T 03:47, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
