Here's what I did, and why:

  • I removed "extra judicially" because otherwise the list would just be the "Caffarello, Joseph" entry.
  • I removed all bolding because emphasizing certain parts seemed very non neutral.
  • I removed the entry for the unknown from Madison, Alabama because he killed himself before the officers shot him.
  • I went through and expanded many entries to provide some context, without it I feel this list is not neutral.

I think that's about it. Some of the entries may be a bit wordy, but again, I think context is very important in these cases. If anyone has any concerns, please comment here, or on my talk page. Deunanknute (talk) 00:09, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I changed the Autumn Steele victim because it was misleading I am also going to add another ref. with more information! --MaryDro (talk) 18:54, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@MaryDro:He wasn't escorting her, she had been released less than an hour before. The cops were called for a domestic disturbance, the officer was running over to stop her from beating her husband, then the dog jumped on his back, he apparently slipped on some ice while trying to shoot the dog and shot the woman by mistake. This is from memory, but it's close. Deunanknute (talk) 19:03, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and made a call and I am thinking under investigation should be all that is said in most of these cases because none have an official report. --MaryDro (talk) 19:09, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
