This needs to be completed. How can we get some expert to attend to it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.22.144.91 (talkcontribs)

Beats me! Pay money? Or make vague promises of historical immortality? --C S (talk) 22:07, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've added some articles (dozens in the past two weeks). That's just clerical work; no need for expertise in knot theory. Next we should think about organizing and maybe annotating the list—dividing it into sections and subsections according to topics, maybe with a bit of commentary. That would take expertise in knot theory, which I don't have. Michael Hardy (talk) 22:57, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Remove some?

[edit]

I would suggest removing Khipu and likely Knot and List of knots. I don't think they are really knot theory articles (As mentioned by David Eppstein on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Mathematics#List of knot theory topics) --AnnekeBart (talk) 11:05, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Knot theory portal?

[edit]

I would like to suggest a portal and template for knot theory (not knots, where there is already one) that is similar to that for group theory. The old group theory template has a Rubik's cube image on it, and I would suggest the knot theory parallel to be either (a) trefoil knot, (b) Borromean rings, (c) figure-8 knot or (d) combination of some of the above.
