Some more sources[edit]

  1. "Lord Mayors of York 1801-2000". York Mansion.
  2. William Combe (1785). The History and Antiquities of the City of York,: Containing, I. The ... p. 13–14.

The first contains a list of Mayors as specified: from 1801 to 2000. The second places in context some of the early mayor appointments as well as mentioning their dates and some of the information could make useful margin notes. -- PBS (talk) 13:33, 28 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merge pointless stub[edit]

The micro-stub at Lord Mayor of York serves no purpose, and can just be folded into the lead of this article, as has been done with various similar Lord Mayor of Foo and Mayor of Foo articles with other List of mayors of Foo articles.  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  12:25, 23 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
