Viewers Beware[edit]

I've seen most of the non-silent movies listed under "Close Adaptations"... some really aren't that close, and some are almost irredeemably bad. Most involve a significant amount of Hollywood invention. If you haven't seen a particular movie, it may not be worth seeking out: check online reviews before you spend a significant amount of time or money tracking down Sword of the Valiant, for example.

We need more sections[edit]

WTF? Dragonheart is listed as a "close adaptation"? That movie has virtually nothing to do with King Arthur.

I suggest we add another section about "movies with references to the Arthurian mythos". Or remove the peripheral ones entirely.

But I'm too lazy to do it myself. SpectrumDT 23:18, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

TV film from the 80s[edit]

or the early 90s. I recall having seen a TV film subdivided in three or more parts on the Arthurian legend. It (especially the plot) closely resembled the movie Excalibur, released in 1981, but it was definetly of a later making. Does anyone else perhaps know the movie I am talking about? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.19.182.75 (talk) 08:34, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Natural[edit]

Is The Natural too far removed from the original to be added to this list? __209.179.32.155 (talk) 20:32, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

All over the show[edit]

I think we need to remove the comedy section and places the respective items in other parts. After all we have comedies in the TV section.Slatersteven (talk) 15:33, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The merger[edit]

I vote in favor-seems to be two different ways of saying the same thing.Agarak (talk) 05:50, 12 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What merger?Slatersteven (talk) 08:51, 12 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No doubt the merge indicated at the top of the page; specifically between List of media based on Arthurian legend and List of media based on Arthurian legend. Support, given essentially identical scope. Klbrain (talk) 17:00, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh, well ijn that case I support too.Slatersteven (talk) 17:04, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
