[edit]

You'll Notice that some of these "Mountain Pass Articles" which are listed have got exactly the same writing and as such, it would be difficult for someone to differentiate between them!

The De Berg Pass article is exactly the same as the Jaap-se-Hoogte Pass article! The Elands Pass article is exactly the same as the Montrose Pass article! The Bothasnek article is exactly the same as the Nelshoogte and Nylshoogte Pass articles! Lastly, the Mokobulaan Pass article is exactly the same as the Sudwala Pass article!

Is it right to suggest that maybe one road has got two names? Or indeed the different articles are meant to describe different roads and not the same roads?

I'm asking because we need to distinguish which name represents which stretch of road. We can't have "The R38 From Carolina to Barberton" appearing three times, as is the case, for example. If the different articles are talking about "the same road", then we may want to "merge them" & if they are talking about different stretches of road, then we need to show the differences.
