Criteria for listing a mounted police unit[edit]

I propose:

  1. Deleting the redlinks and entries without articles.
  2. Adding the following template to the edit page:

The input of other editors would be appreciated. Magnolia677 (talk) 12:59, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Magnolia677:Hi, for the List of military special forces units the approach taken there is that there doesn't necessary need to be an article/link but needs at least a reference. In each country section, we add DO NOT ADD ANY SF UNITS UNLESS YOU HAVE ALSO ADDED A REFERENCE / FOOTNOTE. Any units that do not have an article/reference are open/can be deleted. Eventually, I will go through and check entries in the List of special law enforcement units and add the same to each country section. Those two lists seem to be different to the mounted branch in that there is not a specific article for a mounted unit and links to the organisation it is part of such as a police service/law enforcement agency, regards.--Melbguy05 (talk) 04:30, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
