One person does not a list make[edit]

Unless others are added to this list (for example Cheech Marin, Cesar Chavez, Antonio Villaraigosa, et. al.), it seems that this article should be moved to be a biography of the one entry in the list. Or am I misunderstanding the purpose of this page? slambo 17:50, August 5, 2005 (UTC)

Merge proposal[edit]

There is also a List of Chicano poets, which also includes writers of prose and drama. And of course there is the Category Mexican Americans. I suggest we merge the two lists and place it in the Mexican Americans category, alphabetizing the people listed by last name and with a brief description of what the person does or did.
