A.L. Rowse

[edit]

Was A.L. Rowse a student of Oriel? He took up a scholarship at Christ Church in 1922, and then a fellowship at All Souls after graduating in 1925. Septuagent 18:36, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I can't find him on any of my papers. He's been on the list since before the page was moved, so no idea when that crept in, removing it thanks. --Alf melmac 20:28, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, I have all the people associated with Oriel on my watchlist, at no stage did I ever put Rowse on the watchlist. An interloper for sure!. --Alf melmac 20:35, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
