Paragraphs at the end of this article[edit]

Is it strange to have a long list of people followed by a few paragraphs about some of those people? Certainly the individual articles on these people(Michael Feldman for example) have the information contained in these paragraphs. I guess my question is, should this article be only a list? Pdcook (talk) 15:38, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, since there are no objections, I am going to remove the paragraphs at the end of this article, as those who are mentioned in the paragraphs are also in the list and have their own Wikipedia articles.Pdcook (talk) 17:58, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

People who may not be notable[edit]

Henry Benn played in one game of pro baseball back in 1914 and later died in Madison. Does he count as notable? Pdcook (talk) 00:17, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Organization[edit]

Can we organize the names in this article by topic such as Sports Figures, Government and Political Leaders, Entertainers, Scientists, etc.? The List of people associated with Grand Rapids, Michigan , for example, is a little bit easier to read. Pdcook (talk) 19:48, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'll categorize everyone. Then we can all squabble over what the categories are and who should go where (and even if some of these people are actually notable!)Pdcook (talk) 15:29, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Red links[edit]

If there is no objection, I am going to remove people from this list if they don't have a WP article. PDCook (talk) 21:30, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
