Inclusiveness of Stuttgart

[edit]

So, the limitation of "The following persons were born in Stuttgart respectively within the current city borders." -- does this mean Stuttgart Region or Stuttgart Metropolitan Region or perhaps the Stuttgart (region)? (The bigger the area, the longer and more significant the list!)--S. Rich (talk) 15:54, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Neither the one, nor the other. It consists of people of nothing other than the city of Stuttgart. The sentence means that people from quarters which had not yet been incorporated at the birth time are also included in the list. Carl Wilhelm Heine for example was born in 1838 when Cannstatt has been an independent city, anyway he's reckoned among the people of Stuttgart. I suppose the same applies to Salomon Idler. Thanks! Happy editing.--S. Rich (talk) 05:40, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
