University of Northern Colorado - César Chávez Cultural Center[edit]

The Cesar Chavez Cultural Center, on the University of Northern Colorado campus in Greeley, first opened its doors in 1985. Its purpose was, and continues to be, to offer Latino students support to ensure their academic and social success in college, and to help the larger community appreciate the Latino/Hispanic culture and its contributions.

Our mission is to enhance student recruitment, retention, and graduation with a focused emphasis on the Latino/Hispanic student by fostering an environment which will result in a more successful and positive university experience.

Our goal is to extend, develop and enhance support systems contributing to the success of all students, with a focused emphasis on the Latino/Hispanic student, by implementing various efforts and programs which are designed to promote academic, educational, social, and cultural achievement.

Cesar Chavez Square[edit]

The Cesar Chavez Memorial located at 3rd Avenue and Jefferson Street is not listed here. I added it to the Parks subcategory, but I feel I did so incorrectly. Change this if I am incorrect. Dustin 01:57, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cesar Chavez Park (berkeley)[edit]

To the park section, I added the Cesar Chavez Park in Berkeley, CA. I left out the accent marks because the park website didn't list them.EECavazos 20:49, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Memorial Urinals at the MGM Grand??[edit]

That can't be true, can it be?
