This article was nominated for deletion due to multiple issues, so please improve this with reliable sources. Here are some suggestions:

REFERENCES to reliable SOURCES.
Rename to List of sites visited by Gautama Buddha, because it sounds more encyclopedic and because the list seems to include non-settlement locations such as forests.
Some more information for each list item, e.g. why is this location significant? What did Buddha do there? Check Buddhist pilgrimage#Places where Buddha lived for an example.
Once this list has become acceptable according to Wikipedia's list standards, consider adding links to it from other articles, such as a "Main article" link from Buddhist pilgrimage#Places where Buddha lived.

I hope someone will take care of the current issues soon, since they have not been addressed for over 8 years. It is not going to be me, since I'm not that familiar with Buddhism, just so you know. - HyperGaruda (talk) 07:40, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
