Crash Bandicoot[edit]

I think that Crash Bandicoot ought to go into the 2.5D category since although the graphics were 3D, the action was mostly in a 2D plane. Likewise, Spyro the Dragon should go into the 3D category since it was a more free-roaming game which took place in a 3D world. However these are just my opinions so I'll leave it to someone else to concur and make the change. 2 July 2010. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.126.20.88 (talk) 14:09, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kangaroo[edit]

  • I reverted the edit changing Kangaroo to Kao the Kangaroo, because "Kangaroo" is indeed an actual platform video game. If "Kao the Kangaroo" is a different game, or an alternate title for "Kangaroo", please add it as such. "Kangaroo" should remain on this list, however. Erockrph 21:39, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps this should be divided into stuff like Freeware?ZakTek 16:56, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Donkey Kong 64[edit]

As this was one game, and had predecessors in 2-D, The Donkey Kong Series, I feel that it is improperly classified as a game that got its start in 3D. Just as Super Mario 64 is not in this category. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.65.42.159 (talk) 17:20, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page name[edit]

While the page primarily consists of platform game series, the section "Others" mostly contains games that were not part of any series. This was the case even in 2009 when the page was renamed from "List of platform games". In my opinion, that name makes more sense, as the list contains both series and individual games, and should never have been renamed. Can we rename it back to "List of platform games"?
