Untitled[edit]

For a more instructive list, it seems best to avoid adding neo-psychedelic and shoegazing bands to this list i.e. bands that dabble in psychedelia rather that use the genre as central to their sound.

Artists such as Prince, Lenny Kravitz and the post-punk bands like Teardrop Explodes, Echo and the Bunnymen, the Soft Boys, Siouxsie and the Banshees etc, have elements of their work that could loosely be described as psychedelic, but this is not the genre that best desribes them as bands.

I am inclined to remove The Lovin' Spoonful[edit]

from this list. The reference included says, "faintly psychedelic pop then being purveyed in America by the Lovin' Spoonful". I'm thinking we don't need "faintly psychedelic pop" on the list. Carptrash (talk) 19:29, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
