Coordinates of shipwrecks in Nantucket Co
[edit]Coordinates of the Alice M. Lawrence and the French Van Gilder are nearly identical. I think that one of them, probably the Alice M. Lawrence should be at 41° 18' 53" N, 70° 14' 09" W, wrecked on Tuckernuck Bank rather than Tuckernuck Shoal. See NOAA Chart 13241. Jstuby (talk) 04:52, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- Never mind. It appears the Alice M. Lawrence grounded upon the French Van Gilder, so they would have the same coordinates. But it does remain that there is a shipwreck of unknown name a the coordinates given above.
