Concern about released/unreleased songs

[edit]

As I have recently noticed, an IP continually reverted my edits to bring back list of unreleased songs by Christina Aguilera. However, lists of unreleased songs are absent from featured lists of the same kind (Ellie Goulding, Rihanna). Furthermore, list of unreleased material of an artist often has a stand-alone article (Michael Jackson, Britney Spears). Thus, I am thinking about removing unreleased songs from this page. — (talk) 12:50, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Calvin999: What do you think? (talk) 12:50, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
My point is that the list for Aguilera is a list of recorded songs, not songs written by her/for her that we don't know if she recorded. It's fine to include those 5 I left, because if it leaked, then she clearly recorded it. But the rest do not belong in this list. I'm not sure if Aguilera's songs on BMI or ASCAP are notable enough to have a standalone unreleased/unreleased written songs article like Jackson and Spears.  — ₳aron 13:07, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Concern about released/unreleased songs

[edit]

I'm sorry, but shouldn't songs like Nasty or the two Spanish songs be listed under the normal songs, especially since we at least know the album they were made for, like Dreamy Eyes was? And Too Beautiful was actually released and could be bought. What sense does it make to list these songs, and B-SIDES among songs we know only the name of??
