Joseph Growdon or Joseph Growden?

[edit]

Perhaps the Speaker for 1690 and other dates was Joseph Growden rather than Joseph Growdon? See Growden Mansion for mention of Joseph Growden. --DThomsen8 (talk) 01:08, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The linked person died in 1724 but is listed here as a speaker in 1725 and 1727. — INS Pirat (talk) 23:29, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Major vandalism?

3. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_speakers_of_the_Pennsylvania_House_of_Representatives&diff=1055251157&oldid=1051641524 which shows a large number of unsourced changes to dates. For example, Isaac Norris (statesman) died in 1766 but is now shown as having been Speaker in 1776.

I suggest that the dates should be restored to how they stood in (2). Comments? Alekksandr (talk) 20:42, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
