Korean maps - source?

[edit]

Asides from Daum, there is also Naver (http://me2.do/Gr43Bsn) that offers streetview. (They should be added to the list?) My question is: Does Naver source their images from Daum or the other way around? Does anyone know? It seems to me though that images (i.e. image age) are different between the two, even though it seems foolish if they'd make all that work twice. --Philipp Grunwald (talk) 20:07, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

India-Wonobo-Patna & Amritsar

[edit]

Patna and Amritsar were present on the website around 1100, 17 February 2014 (UTC). But at this moment it looks like both have been removed from the homepage. But at 20:15, 17 February 2014 (UTC) Direct Link (http://www.wonobo.com/patna & http://www.wonobo.com/amritsar) are still active. Probably when Eugen Simion 14 visted the website,Patna was present but Amritsar was gone by that time. I am presently not sure how WoNoBo is going to press on it. But I just wanted to clarify that both cities are on WoNoBo. (talk) 21:00, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

IP unconstructive edit

[edit]

Please do not add this site http://billywr.com/maps/ on the list. This is a classic version of the Google Maps, and the sourse mentioned [1] seems to be like adversing made by a developer guy from Brazil, that is known for bad reputation on Wikipedia for adding unconstructive edits for Google Street View related articles. The semi-protection of the page is required. - EugεnS¡m¡on 19:48, 23 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've reported the site at WT:WPSPAM. Should the disruption continue, WP:SBL can be used to request blacklisting of the url. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 20:23, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Blacklisting request now submitted at WP:SBL#billywr.com. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 22:06, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Block view

[edit]

It's no longer in operation, but I'm thinking there ought to be some mention of A9's BlockView project; it was one of the first, if not the first street view services. Should we just include it under North America or maybe make a separate section for discontinued services? Matt Deres (talk) 02:25, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Bing Streetside

[edit]

Bing is a local US web service. It's never attempted to expand beyond USA. For Streetside it only covers USA and just a few cities in UK, France and Spain. 4 countries comparing to 6 of Yandex Maps Panoramas. So they are both not really worldwide approach of Google Street View with several dozen of counties. Elk Salmon (talk) 17:49, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
