Honduras not participating?[edit]

I haven't found an official message but here it says that the commitee has decided not to make a selection this year:

Thanks - I'll update the text. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 08:41, 26 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Languages[edit]

"Language spoken" was left blank for two of the three movies made by Black African directors this year. When added the correct information, the user called Lugnuts immediately deleted them. It did not ask for a source. It deleted the information. In the current article, the films from Europe and Asia do not require a source for their language. The user is using discrimination and racism against African films and African languages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.252.4.23 (talk) 16:29, 20 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide a reliable source for your additions and see WP:NPA too. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:49, 20 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia editors. The above user deleted the reliable sources I provided and then wrote on the Talk Page to "add a reliable source". So I am adding reliable sources a second time. User has still not explained why (other than racism) African films need a source for their languages but the 80-plus non-African films do not require a source. It seems that the other 87 films with no source for their languages should also be deleted. WP:NPA says no personal attacks. But an explanation is needed why African films in African languages are treated differently than films from other countries. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.252.4.23 (talk) 20:09, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

>>>FYROM[edit]

The name "Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" is used here. Should it be left that way, or updated to "North Macedonia"? I don't think that North Macedonia ever actually used the FYROM name for itself. Now, I know that North Macedonia was not called that back when the film was released, but does that matter? It's not a different country now just because its official name is different. Kelisi (talk) 20:33, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
