This is a list of MANPADS, not all SAMs. WTF? 99.236.221.124 (talk) 06:23, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Folks,

Strangely, this article does not even include the world's first surface to air missile to reach production after WW2, the Swiss Oerlikon-Contraves RBC-50?

Jack E. Hammond

.

It doesn't list the CIM-10 Bomarc either. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.112.120.8 (talk) 02:29, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Generations[edit]

The SAM's should be categorized into "generations" (generation 1 to 5). Fifth generation SAMs are also called double digit SAMs

I wonder if by nationality is a better way to organise? Some missiles cross generations. Guidance doesn’t work. Rapier for example has been both visually and radar guided. Chwyatt (talk) 09:05, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The list of German "surface to air missiles" includes only air to air. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.135.194.177 (talk) 19:15, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
