Al-Qaeda in Iraq

Wow, this article is a mess[edit]

Needs a REAL cleanup. --HanzoHattori (talk) 12:44, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Update the article[edit]

I just added a few suicide bombings from March and April to the list, from the list it looks as if there are no suicide bombings at all, anymore. But actually it's just that no-one is bothering to update it... The Honorable Kermanshahi (talk) 20:19, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

IAI[edit]

Splitting[edit]

This page is huge. I would like to go through and split it into pages by year. Any objections? MBisanz talk 03:00, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Completely agree. I will attempt to do so. But what happens to the citations in the main article? We should include some more information to cover the loss of the trimming. Mathpianist93 (talk) 01:47, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bot report : Found duplicate references ![edit]

In the last revision I edited, I found duplicate named references, i.e. references sharing the same name, but not having the same content. Please check them, as I am not able to fix them automatically :)

  • "CIVCONTCAS" :

    • http://icasualties.org/oif/Civ.aspx ''The dates for these attacks may be inaccurate as they often relate to belated victim-identification press releases; the casualty figures are also incomplete as they exclusively count foreign civilian contractors. Replacement citations would be preferable''

Why nobody keeps counting daily the suicide attacks in Iraq?[edit]

In the July-August period of these year there were many suicide bombings (at least died 50 people because of them) and nobody put them in the list. I know that is a bit difficult following every suicide bombing in this conflict, but with a little of work it can be made (as I did with the suicide bombings in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict). There must be somebody who could do this work. Thanks.--AndresHerutJaim (talk) 07:40, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Because the attention in the US has shifted to the War in Afghanistan and Pakistan now that troop withdrawal is beginning to be completed. Mathpianist93 (talk) 02:00, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
