Update I-4 Express

[edit]

Can I-4 Express, currently listed as future project, be added to the chart for Managed Lanes? It is complete and open. Source: https://i4express.com/2022/02/25/i-4-express-opening-february-26/

length: 21 miles Western terminus: Kirkman Rd, Orlando Eastern terminus: SR 434, Longwood Local Names: I-4 Express Formed: 2022 Removed: Current Notes: 2 lanes each direction

Under future projects, this part can stay, "Additional 40 miles (64 km) of variable toll lanes along I-4 currently being studied, which would cover the Orlando metropolitan area.[11]" — Preceding unsigned comment added by TforG5 (talkcontribs) 15:40, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there! I noticed that the Wiki page hasnt been touched since the opening of the I-4 Express Lanes. I have fixed the page to include I-4 into the Managed Lane section. I also kept the I-4 into the Future Toll Roads, with few modifcations to day the least. Anyways, I hope this should put you at ease.

US Route shields

[edit]

Would somebody tell me why the US route shields are colored? As far as I know, those shields were used prior to 1993. So, why not replace them with new shields? Gfoley4 | Need to chat? My track record 21:35, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

@Gfoley4: I don't see any colored U.S. route shields, per se. Presumably this has since been fixed? -- Beland (talk) 05:18, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why no map?

[edit]

I hate reading all of this text - I don't know half of these places and most of it means nothing to me. A map showing the toll roads would provide a lot more information. A Google Map mashup would be great, but I guess that would have to be hosted elsewhere. Doesn't Wikipedia have an area that would allow maps to be drawn? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.55.180.101 (talk) 02:27, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I was looking for a map, too. Yes, anyone can just upload a map as an image; it just takes some effort to draw. I added a map request tag to flag this article for mapmakers' attention. -- Beland (talk) 05:18, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What is open road tolling?

[edit]

It is very unhelpful of this article to repeatedly use the phrase "Open road tolling" in the table without explaining it. This may or may not be understood by US citizens, but it means nothing to Florida's huge number of overseas visitors. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.70.144.30 (talk) 01:26, 8 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I added links to that article from the table. -- Beland (talk) 05:20, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Add Toll Route 293 to the Toll Road List

[edit]

Considering that Toll Route 293 has its own separate toll road[1], I think its fair to say it should be included as Walter Francis Spence Parkway. Should I add it in? Bayshoreformula (talk) 15:28, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have added it into the toll route. You may extend it to US 98 if you wish. Thank you.
