Sources[edit]

How was the "place of primary affiliation" determined? Are there any sources that were used? Kaldari (talk) 21:44, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Delaware[edit]

The primary affiliation map needs to be updated to include Delaware. 71.123.9.21 (talk) 14:11, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The map still needs to be updated to include Delaware as of 16 June 2016. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.16.131.85 (talk) 16:06, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Al Gore[edit]

Al Gore was born in Washington, DC, not Washington State. The picture and the link need to be updated. I don't know how. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.28.188.56 (talk) 01:01, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of vice presidents of the United States by place of primary affiliationList of vice presidents of the United States by home state – For consistency with List of presidents of the United States by home state. 73.110.217.186 (talk) 01:17, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. "Home state" is how this is commonly referred to in the U.S. Rreagan007 (talk) 02:20, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support and change the "States of primary affiliation" list to a list of the Vice President's home state at the time of their election/appointment. The current page is deeply confusing and seems to be trying to determine what their "home state" should have been rather than straightforwardly listing their state of residence at the time they were elected. (The intro's suggestion that a former state Attorney General, a former Collector of the Port and a former Governor all only "considered" New York their home state is absurd.)
