Unknown volcano in India?[edit]

After reading the List of volcanoes in India, I found an unlisted volcano 300 mi north of Sri Lanka, 200 mi south-southeast of Chennai (Madras), India. Does anyone know the name?

Your distances don't add up, Izmir2: Chennai is about 225 miles (360 km) north of Point Pedro … so 200 miles SSE could not possibly be 300 miles north of Sri Lanka; even if you use km instead of miles, 200 km SSE of Chennai is about 200 km NNE of Point Pedro. Google Maps does not identify any features off the coast; so, more than 12 years later, your question remains unanswered. Prisoner of Zenda (talk) 06:24, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Loktak lake[edit]

The given co-ords (24.45N, 93.47E) are about 35 km WSW of the lake; better co-ords are 24.555N, 93.805E. Prisoner of Zenda (talk) 05:46, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
