Works of Reginald Hallward - just glassmaking or add in his other types of works?[edit]

I'm not sure if: 1) other works, such as his books/poetry and painting should be moved over to the Works of Reginald Hallward or if the article should be renamed to something like Works of Reginald Hallward (glassmaking) for Reginald Hallward. Does anyone have an opinion, particularly someone from the Glass or Visual Arts projects?--CaroleHenson (talk) 00:27, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion Hallward's other works - books, poetry and paintings should be included under separate but distinct headings:

Glassworks[edit]

Paintings[edit]

Literary works[edit]

published works[edit]

Poetry[edit]

Probably include as many examples as you have under each category - although you might indicate each category is complete or incomplete...Modernist (talk) 02:13, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thanks Modernist!--CaroleHenson (talk) 02:44, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lost works - any citations?[edit]

Are there any citations for the following lost works?

  • St. Paul’s Church, Bury, Lancashire: Hallward designed a chapel for this church which was opened in 1841 but closed in 1995.
  • St. Dyfrig’s Church, Cardiff: Hallward executed a window for St Dyfrig’s Church but the church was sadly demolished in the 1960s and it does not appear that the windows survived that demolition, although some of the furnishings were moved to St Samson’s church in the neighbouring parish when the church was renamed St Dyfrig and St Samson. Dyfrig is better known as Saint Dubricius the evangelist of Ergyng (now Archenfield) and much of South-East Wales.
  • St. Etheldreda Church, Fulham, Greater London: Hallward designed a window or possibly windows for this church. It was bombed in 1940 and rebuilt in 1958 and Hallward’s work appears to have been lost.--CaroleHenson (talk) 21:30, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
