Surely this should be called list of Northern Irish Writers instead of Northern Ireland writers, a list of American writers wouldn't be called list of America writers. I would fix it myself but I don't know how to.

There are all kinds of political implications to calling someone 'Northern Irish,' so the current title is a good effort at ignoring them. Having said that, "Writers of Northern Ireland" is GRAMMATICALLY incorrect, implying that Northern Ireland is the SUBJECT of their writing. Can we please change it to the equally apolitical, but more grammatically accurate, "Writers FROM Northern Ireland"? Thanks BlackMarlin (talk) 13:17, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

>Also, it appears to be list of writers from Northern Ireland which includes writers who were born before Northern Ireland existed. Also it appears to ignore writers from Nothern Ireland who write in the Irish language. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.210.230.218 (talk) 22:42, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
