West Bridgford

[edit]

Good article as always! I propose renaming it "listed buildings in West Bridgford", as it is a clearer name, and the unparished part of Rushcliffe is the former West Bridgford Urban District. Warofdreams talk 00:44, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Yes, I struggled with this, and have made Listed buildings in West Bridgford a redirect. When I looked at the geography, the area of Edwalton seemed rather distant from the core of West Bridgford, and I thought of splitting it into two lists. But the items in the cemetery seem nearer to Edwalton, than to the main group in West Bridgford, so I did what I did. I guess you know the area better than I do, so if you think this would work better, I could combine Edwalton under West Bridgford, as you suggest. --Peter I. I've been to West Bridgford a few times, but not to Edwalton. However, aside from the former urban district, I note that our article on Edwalton describes it as an area of West Bridgford, as does Rushcliffe Borough Council, so I think the name change would work. OK, I've done it and made this article into a redirect. Hope it all works. Would you please check for any errors, etc. Cheers. --Peter I. Vardy (talk) 10:59, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks! It all looks good, I've just updated links in some articles. Warofdreams talk 21:32, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
