Vandalism related to Late Show.with David Letterman[edit]

This article was vandalized tonight, at aproximately the same time of the untrue Wikipedia fact of the day feature on the show. It may be just a theory, but it would seem lettermans staff modified the article for the purpose of the show. 206.40.99.178 (talk) 05:36, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Although suspicious, it would be very difficult to prove this was done by someone on David Letterman's staff. Someone from IP address 67.244.137.215 made eight edits to the article from 04:54, January 22, 2011 to 05:01, January 22, 2011. Is that a map of the Little Bighorn River?[edit]

Judging from the map of the Bighorn River watershed at Bighorn River, the map of the Little Bighorn River doesn't look quite right. I'll bring this to the attention of the Montana Project as well. Modal Jig (talk) 19:04, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

that doesn't look right at all. The Little Bighorn flows north and these rivers are flowing east. The map in Bighorn River does look accurate. Also note the one here lists wiki as a source. See [1] (zoom in). PumpkinSky talk 22:24, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The map is weird and lacks context to tell where it is at all. A better one is in order. Montanabw(talk) 23:58, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's a map of the Missouri River: look real closely and the Little Bighorn is a light green vertical swiggle about one-eight of an inch long in the upper left quadrant. Useless without context. Modal Jig (talk) 15:25, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't look like the Missouri, either. And in any case, the Little Bighorn is a tributary of the "big" Bighorn, and neither flows into the Missouri. Here is a link to an official Montana map (copyrighted, unfortunately) where you can see both rivers: here--sections G-F/8-9, south of Hardin, where the two rivers converge .
