Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (Litz is a person of genuine significance to the field of theatre - she is now deceased and I am an academic researching many movement practitioners who have no visibility as their medium is movement) --Ayse Tashkiran (talk) 10:25, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • I came to this Wikipedia page to find out a little more about her biography, and I concur that she lacks "visibility". There is no way in which this page could be considered WP:PROMOTIONAL (and the subject is clearly notable). The fact that it was created by a (gf) SPA is irrelevant, given that, in its current form, it does not appear to express any sort of personal viewpoint. Ayse Tashkiran declares a background as an academic researcher in the field (e.g. Tashkiran A (2016). "British movement directors". In Evans M, Kemp R (eds.). The Routledge companion to Jacques Lecoq. London: Taylor & Francis. pp. 227–235. ISBN 9781317594635.), and this expertise helped make a valuable contribution to Wikipedia.
