I originally made this article and it has been re-directed to the incorrect spelling of Llandegveth. The reservoir is Llandegfedd reservoir the nearby village is Llandegveth. Although sometimes also incorrectly referred to as Llandegveth reservoir the correct spelling is Llandegfedd, as confirmed by all maps. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Clouha (talkcontribs) 17:54, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is not an incorrect spelling, it is the English language name. The page should definitely mention both names. Owain (talk) 12:03, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hamdden

[edit]

Is there really a company called just 'Hamdden' operating for Welsh Water? It seems more likely that someone has misunderstood that 'hamdden' is simply the Welsh word for 'leisure' and that the recreational facilities at Llandegfedd are described reasonably enough under the title 'Hamdden'. This also lies submerged where the reservoir is now situated. 2A02:C7C:8A40:D800:F5B4:90AC:61A4:D7E5 (talk) 16:31, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
