Tone[edit]

The Biography section reads with an opinionated tone.

"Boylife turned out to be a record that works as a solid piece of art as well as songs that stand out on their own. At the core, there is a minimal approach to the songwriting, but the end result sounds far from simple. Consider silence as blank canvas, and LFF's colors of the bright and vibrant kind. Covering all corners, the music explores the best of funk, disco, new wave with a 21st century twist. "Wake Up" has a bassline that is undeniably groovy, while "City" - a track that catapulted their exposure via the Internet and the massive amount of blog attention it received - focuses on warm, kinetic synths.
