Note from the author
[edit]First page in wikipedia - so no doubt I've done some wrong things. I know I'm missing the categorization - can someone help with that? Appreciate the communities feedback and help. Thanks. Aupward (talk) 17:00, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
What is this article about?
[edit]This article seems to miss a definition. All it says that it's an alternative to something Thatcher said, but there's absolutely nothing concrete on what it entails. --88.115.161.183 (talk) 19:32, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
Proposed merge with Import substitution industrialization
[edit]"Local ownership import substituting" is one particular flavour of "Import substitution industrialization", with very little content; I think it would be best to merge this article into the more mature ISI article. bobrayner (talk) 14:55, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
- support - Bobrayner I've rewritten the definition. However, I agree that this is best merged. I will go ahead with merge if you are still in agreement. Jonpatterns (talk) 15:21, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- Regardless of whether Bobrayner responds or not, I think that it's a good ideas, Jonpatterns! Klbrain (talk) 22:00, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
