Origin of name

Is the name of Norse origin? Something like Sjø fjord 92.40.193.223 (talk) 20:11, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

According to MacBain it is from "the pent up salt lake Saer which forms its head, hence Saefjördh. Ben MacDui 15:39, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
