List cruft?[edit]

IMHO, the topic of the "châteaux of the loire valley" could handle a lot more discussion than a couple of paragraphs of generality then a navigation box with links to the individual articles for the châteaux themselves. The ideal would probably involve links to all the châteaux, embeddded in some explanatory text that links the articles together, groups them in some meaningful way (possible chronological) and generally makes them more approachable. I tried adding a straight list (but it got reverted), but maybe that's not the way to go. How best to expand this article, and start discussing the individual châteaux, given that there are apparently 300+ of them? Stevage 11:20, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Sad that nobody monitors vandalism here... --Ghirla-трёп- 18:46, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article split[edit]

The Loire Valley is first a river valley, so the emphasis on châteaux is inappropriate. This article should mention the river valley's fauna, flora, geography, etc., as well as its notable wine. I'm going to split out the article Châteaux of the Loire Valley, currently a redirect, and then let's expand this article with relevant material using the French language edition of the article as an example. --Rosiestep (talk) 23:59, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Link to "Châteaux of the Loire Valley" page needed[edit]

This could go in the "architecture" section, linking to this page as the main article on the châteaux.

"Vallée de la Loire" or "Val de Loire"?[edit]

"Vallée de la Loire" or "Val de Loire"? There is "Val de Loire" title in French version. Which one is correct? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.73.49.196 (talk) 00:28, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

MAP![edit]

What this article needs first of all is a MAP, since it deals with a geographical region. We want to see where the place is in relation to the rest of France, the course of the river and the locations of the principal towns. Could someone do this for us please? 93.36.222.39 (talk) 08:36, 29 August 2012 (UTC)hi I love france[reply]
