I'm accepting this with some reservations. Other than the books, you only have one source that I consider independent and reliable, and that is NJ.com.  Mairnucci is with the Examiner, which is not generally considered reliable, Apple Records is not really independent, and vwh.net is again associated with the Examiner.  Thanks for your work.  :- ) DCS 02:59, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Clean-up and bare URL tags[edit]

Just a note to say that I've gone through the article and addressed points raised in these editorial tags (and took the liberty of removing the tags myself). Re the point about inconsistent titles/names that was raised in the clean-up tag: I've taken the name of the act as being Lon & Derrek Van Eaton - like Derek & The Dominos, and Delaney & Bonnie. Thing is (and this is perhaps where previous editor thought there was some inconsistency with this issue, not that any specifics were given), the article provides, or at least attempts to provide, a discussion of how the two brothers progressed - hence Lon and Derrek [Van Eaton] moved to London, etc - rather than the act per se. If this makes it clearer: one would talk about "Delaney & Bonnie's 1969 European tour" (the act/band); but "Delaney and Bonnie were there when Preston and Harrison hit on the opening chords to 'My Sweet Lord' ..."
