One word or two?

[edit]

Is the correct village name Longstanton or Long Stanton? The OS map shows it as one word, but the photo of the village sign shows it as two. See also this edit to the article about the railway station. —  Tivedshambo  (t/c) 15:43, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I understand, the village is called Longstanton (that's certainly what all road signs in the area say), but the train station was definitely called Long Stanton. I don't know whether this was a mistake or if the village has previously been called Long Stanton. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 21:02, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Longstanton Spice Museum

[edit]

This is a fictional museum in the British comedy series I'm Alan Partridge. It might be worth a mention since it's actually the first predictive suggestion on Google when you start searching for Longstanton - even though it doesn't exist outside the show! 31.54.59.160 (talk) 04:13, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Both origin of a modern martial art and artist have been removed from this group. Both of which originated within longstanton. Your lack of knowledge is shocking. How is the birth place if a martial art and a highly recognised artist deemed Un encyclopaedic? 86.137.125.148 (talk) 10:42, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
