Bias

I will be adding some factual information to this article, and I wished to add my rationale here.

In its current iteration, this article is biased toward a single production: Tito Chimpan's trickily trademarked "LA Fashion Week" shows.

However, in spite of this trademark, his production is only one of several, as evidenced in the press, as the term "LA Fashion Week" predates his trademark by several decades.

The LA Times and WWD both refer to multiple productions as "LA Fashion Week."

A point of law: As you can see from the article on New York Fashion Week, the purchasing of a trademark does not auto-magically confer legality upon a single business.

Nor does the endorsement of a political figure, as "official" status has been granted to several producers over the years.

Thanks for your additions. This article has been plagued by promotion of one company or another for a long time - as long as we keep to reliable sources such as the LA Times we can and should be writing about this multiple company situation. - MrOllie (talk) 14:58, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
