Untitled[edit]

Does anyone know who USC's first actual game in the Arena was against?

Inside photos[edit]

Someone needs to take some inside photos. This might be hard, though, because I doubt it's allowed to take cameras in to concerts, which are virtually the only event at Sports Arena anymore. Yesitsnot (talk) 07:25, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • There are other events, including high school playoffs. Ucla90024 (talk) 07:43, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, well, someone should still add inside photos. Yesitsnot (talk) 09:05, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comments about article as it is now[edit]

The "Notes" format is little better than the dreaded "Trivia". Also, I seriously dobut that John Wooden, whose playing career was at Purdue in the 1930s ever "played" in the Sports Arena, although he most definitely coached there on several occassions.

Also, the fact that the Sports Arena was what facilitated the move of the NBA Minneapolis Lakers (and their now-ironic nickname) to LA needs to be brought up in the article. 75.201.228.199 (talk) 02:24, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
