School article guidelines

[edit]

I notice that a number of edits have recently been made to this article by several new editors. A general WikiWelcome to all of you, and I hope that you stay on and become regular editors here.

However, please note that your edits will have to follow certain rules. A number of editors have formed WikiProject Schools (see link above) and hashed out guidelines that should be followed by articles on schools. Some of the recent additions, notably a list of all the faculty and a list of all the courses offered, contravene these guidelines. I'd encourage you to read the guidelines before doing further edits to this article.

Also, material added to Wikipedia should be verifiable. It would improve the article greatly if citations could be added so that readers can check up on the validity of information. You can read about Wikipedia's verifiability policy at WP:V, and about adding citations at WP:CITE. Citations are particularly important at articles about high schools, since they tend to attract a lot of vandalism. (If this article's being edited as part of a class project, it's also good practice for real-world writing in fields like science and journalism.)

Good luck with your editing—
