Prank Call sequence music?

[edit]

Bart begins to show off his new phone while. Let’s see. What could Bart do with a phone he’s completely anonymous on? How about prank phone calls to bars in Hawaii (for Maya Normousbutt), Australia (for Drew P. Weiner) and Sweden (for Olaf MyfriendsareGay)? Does anyone have any thoughts on what this sequence was trying to spoof? The style and music seemed familiar but I couldn’t quite place it.

Anyone? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.78.4.241 (talk) 03:41, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the music and sequence was a reference to Koyaanisqatsi, which part however i'm not too confident. This would be good to have in the article, added by somebody who can be 100% sure.AppleRobin (talk) 04:50, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's the same music that was used for the evolution couch gag ... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.78.60.67 (talk) 10:37, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I hate lisa and Marge. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.108.148.182 (talk) 14:41, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm interested by the music too... Any idea ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.230.225.140 (talk) 21:36, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Species of bird

[edit]

Anybody, thanks.(Pavelow235 (talk) 16:32, 6 October 2008 (UTC))[reply]

It's a Scarlet Tanager. Lisa looks this up at the fictional website "peterson's-guide-to-north-american-birds.com". Moltebær (talk) 18:08, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

References???

[edit]

I found to good references in last nights episode. 1.) Pee Wee's Playhouse: When Homer cracks a pun about fish, Marge and Homer both go, "ha ha ha" just like the fish in Pee Wee's Playhouse do. 2.) Futurama: A character in Machu Pichu resembles Dr.Zoidberg then he runs away and does Zoidberg's signature, "WHOOP, WHOOP, WHOOP, WHOOP, WHOOP!" sound. Shouldn't these facts be added to the page??? -MovieDirector299 —Preceding unsigned comment added by MovieDirector299 (talkcontribs) 20:23, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

woop woop woop comes from three stooges —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.95.14.236 (talk) 23:13, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not facts, original research. If there were cites, sure, then maybe add them in. Lots42 (talk) 13:19, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dr. Nick?

[edit]

Wasn't that Dr. Nick on golfcourse behind Dr. Hibbert? I think he died in Simosons Movie. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.150.116.107 (talk) 14:53, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is no evidence he died in the Movie. A bunch of people just think he did. CTJF83Talk 19:22, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Dr. Nick's article says the producers say he died in the movie but he would return anyway. And that this page was his official return. Lots42 (talk) 13:18, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Frogger?

[edit]

"Skinner plays a human version of the arcade game Frogger when trying to cross the interstate for gas." Well, he leaps back and forth like the frog in Frogger, but there's no indication that it's supposed to represent the game. I think this reference should be removed. 86.131.89.40 (talk) 00:10, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
