Hey, Evrik, here checking a DYK set. I just wanted to confirm that the capitalization on this article title is correct per MOS? I just don't want someone to move it while it's on the main page. --valereee (talk) 15:48, 23 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Images

[edit]

The image for the Lothagam North Pillar Site shown in the Infobox is not actually the Lothagam North Pillar Site - there are lots of paleontological sites in the Lothagam area and whatever is depicted here must be one of those. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to delete this image from the infobox - I don't see it in the source code at all. @Ian (Wiki Ed), any chance you could help? I will try to find pictures of the pillar site to send to the student editor (@Mbug333). Thanks! Ninafundisha (talk) 18:19, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Ninafundisha It looks like Template:Infobox ancient site pulls the image directly from Wikidata if the Image field isn't filled out here. So there are a few options to fix this.
  1. You can do to d:Q85782261, the item on Wikidata, and change the image to one that actually reflects the site (assuming that one exists) or remove it entirely (both of the images in Commons:Category:Lothagam North Pillar Site appear to be elsewhere at Lothagam, just to confuse things further, so that might need fixing too).
  2. You can edit the article in Source mode and add |image = and another file from Commons (leaving out the File: prefix)
  3. You can edit the article using the visual editor. In edit mode click on the infobox and then click "Edit" in the box that pops up below the infobox. Then click "Image" on the left sidebar of the edit box that picks up, which will add an "Image" line to the form. Then add the image name as you would in #2, click on "Apply changes" and then "Publish changes".
