General: Article is new enough and long enough

Policy compliance:

Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Article was nominated for DYK within 7 days of creation (counting calendar days). Article is more than 1,500 words in prose, with proper citations. Earwig picked up an "unlikely" copyright violation of 17.4%. QPQ is done. I would go with ALT0. In addition, in the third paragraph of "Composition" and the second and third paragraphs of "Critical reception" does not specify who these "critics" that were making the statements were, so it does seem promotional sometimes. lullabying (talk) 02:41, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi @Clovermoss: could you help me get this promoted? After making the pretty serious accusation that the article is non-neutral, Lullaby has ignored multiple pings and a talk page message from me. I reject this categorization and generally consider this an FA-quality article. The hooks are superb in my opinion, and it is pretty frustrating to be made to jump through hoops on this when they are superior to a lot of others easily being promoted. There is literally nothing left to be done here.--NØ 02:38, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    • It has only been less than 24 hours since I first made the review and I also responded to your talk page message. No need for the hostility! Anyways, the edits seem to look good so I'll be passing it. lullabying (talk) 04:53, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Rodrigo wrote it with its producer, Dan Nigro. The song became available ..." → "Rodrigo wrote the song with its producer, Dan Nigro. It became available ..."
  • "Critics" → "Music critics"
  • "She included it ..." → "Rodrigo included the song ..."
  • "Rodrigo suffered a wardrobe malfunction while performing "Love Is Embarrassing" ..." → "She suffered a wardrobe malfunction while performing the song ..."
  • "The album was released in May 2021" → "Sour was released in May 2021"
  • "she revealed Guts's tracklist" → "she revealed Guts' tracklist"
  • Why some sentences in the composition part are in present tense, while the others in past tense?
  • Critical opinions could have changed since time of publishing so they are in the past tense. Whereas, sentences like "the song includes guitars" would be present tense as the studio recording has not changed.--NØ 04:22, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for not clarifying this earlier, but I was mainly talking about the credits part, "Nigro played, Ray played, Stewart played, etc..." and I see that it's done now! Medxvo (talk) 06:30, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Any thoughts on this wording?

Everything else looks fine! This is a really well-written and well-sourced article. I will put it  On hold for now; happy to pass once the issues are fixed or discussed. Medxvo (talk) 22:50, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for the review, Medxvo! All done according to your suggestions. I have kept the sentence split for Ragusa's comment, though, since I felt the sentence was getting too long but switched to your order of wording.--NØ 04:22, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It looks amazing now! @MaranoFan: Well done. I am going to  Pass the article now, congratulations! If you have time, please consider reviewing Taylor Swift Productions, I would like to know your thoughts :) Medxvo (talk) 06:30, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
