@Bermicourt: Interesting! I checked here which mentions planation surfaces, and on a site which has OCR text as "planation" (I'll not link that, as it looks like a copyvio) but perhaps the spelling differs between editions. Certes (talk) 10:39, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Certes: Hmm. The only book source I found was this: [1], but it's also on de.wiki which I know is not necessarily reliable. Why not just cite your link above. Looking at the actual text, it seems 'planation' is what is meant.Bermicourt (talk) 12:12, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
