Canadian rather than American?[edit]

He's an expatriate, but from the article it seems he belongs in Category:Czech expatriates in Canada rather than to the United States. According to the article, he was a visiting professor in the United States for three years (1965-1968), but fled Czechoslovakia later that year and went to the University of Toronto where he became a full professor and was there until he retired in 1988. (He had been a visiting professor in a couple other countries.) So, Canadian. (He died in Italy and whether he had retired there I don't know.) Herostratus (talk) 12:09, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
